The Mexican Fan Palm is characterized by its rapid growth and impressive stature. In cultivated landscapes, it typically reaches heights of 15–25 meters (50–80 feet), with a canopy spread of approximately 2–4 meters (6–12 feet). Its slender, columnar trunk is topped with a dense crown of large, fan-shaped fronds that can span up to 1.5 meters (5 feet) in length. As the palm matures, old fronds may form a "skirt" beneath the canopy, adding to its distinctive appearance. This palm's towering presence makes it an excellent choice for lining streets, driveways, or as a focal point in expansive gardens.
